Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the ResumeInvited website, resume builder, document-generation features, and support communications. The service operator is Big Red Rabbit LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Its registered address is 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. References to we, us, or our describe Big Red Rabbit LLC.
This policy describes the current public version of the service, which does not require an account and does not provide cloud-saved resume libraries. A future feature that changes these practices will require an updated notice before it is introduced.
Information we handle
The information involved depends on how you use ResumeInvited. You decide what resume content to enter and what information to include when contacting us.
- Resume content: contact details, work history, education, skills, summaries, and other information you add to a draft.
- Document-generation data: resume content, formatting, and any photo sent to our document-generation server when you request PDF or Word. TXT is generated in your browser.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, request time, referring page, error information, and security or performance events that web infrastructure normally processes.
- Support data: when you email support@resumeinvited.com, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive resume information.
Your resume is saved in your browser
Your active resume draft is saved only in your browser's local storage in the current version of ResumeInvited. The application does not upload that saved draft to a ResumeInvited account or resume database.
Local browser data remains under the control of your browser and device. ResumeInvited cannot view, recover, synchronize, or remotely delete that local copy. It may disappear if you clear site data, use private browsing, reset the builder, change devices, or use a different browser.
Document generation
TXT is generated in your browser. When you request PDF or Word, the website sends the necessary resume content, formatting, and any photo to our document-generation server and returns the generated file. PDF uses the same prepared A4 pages as your preview; editable Word may reflow in different document editors.
The document-generation service processes the request in memory. It does not save resume content or generated files to a resume library and does not include resume content in application logs. Cloud resume saving is not enabled. Hosting and network infrastructure may process ordinary technical request data. Production processing locations will be confirmed before public deployment.
How and why we use information
We handle information only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, respond to users, operate the website, and protect ResumeInvited and its users. Depending on where you live, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, or your consent where required.
- Provide the builder and generate documents you request.
- Maintain website performance, diagnose errors, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Answer support, privacy, security, and accessibility messages.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve the product using aggregated or de-identified observations where reasonably possible.
Service providers and disclosures
Hosting, content delivery, and security providers process the requests needed to operate the website. PDF and Word generation temporarily process the resume data you submit for that purpose. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to support@resumeinvited.com to our designated support mailbox. Email routing and mailbox providers process those messages to deliver and manage support correspondence; the retention section below describes how we keep that correspondence.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.
We do not currently sell personal information, rent resume content, or use resume content for third-party behavioral advertising.
How long information is kept
The retention period depends on the type of information and why it is handled.
- Resume drafts in local storage remain until you reset the builder or your browser or device removes the site data.
- The document-generation service does not persist resume content or generated files; temporary processing ends when the export request completes or times out.
- Technical logs may be kept for a limited period based on security, reliability, legal, and infrastructure needs.
- Support communications may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain business records, protect legal rights, and comply with law.
International processing
Big Red Rabbit LLC is registered in Wyoming, United States. Company registration does not determine where every request is processed. Hosting, email routing, and mailbox providers may process requests and correspondence in regions where their services operate. Production document-generation locations will be confirmed before public deployment.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguard, we will use appropriate contractual or other recognized protections.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information held by us, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also be entitled to complain to your local data protection authority.
Most resume content is held only in your browser, so the fastest way to remove it is to reset the builder or clear ResumeInvited site data in that browser. We cannot remotely access or delete information that exists only on your device.
See the Contact page for the current availability of a privacy request channel. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law allows them to do so.
Children and young users
ResumeInvited is a general-audience job-seeking service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
If you are below the age at which you can agree to these terms or consent to data processing where you live, use ResumeInvited only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided information to us inappropriately, contact us so we can review the situation.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information during transmission and processing. No website, device, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Avoid placing information in a resume that is not needed for a job application. On a shared device, clear the draft and browser data when you finish.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The Last updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented in a reasonably prominent way when required.
