Our current use of browser technologies
ResumeInvited does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising trackers. We may use technologies that are necessary to deliver, protect, and operate the website.
Our infrastructure provider may process basic request information and use essential security mechanisms to detect abuse, manage traffic, and maintain the service.
Optional analytics and homepage recordings
Analytics is enabled by default without an automatic popup. Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and fixed product events such as opening the builder, selecting a template, and requesting a download. We do not use session recordings or heatmaps on any page.
Use Privacy choices on this page or in the footer to turn analytics off or on. We honor an existing saved opt-out. Reject optional leaves all editing, local saving, and export features available. Turning analytics off stops further collection on this page and removes accessible analytics cookies; it does not delete observations already received by the providers. Homepage recording can resume on your next eligible page load after you allow it again.
We do not send resume field values, resume text, names, phone numbers, email addresses, photos, document titles, downloaded file names, or raw error messages as analytics events. We use fixed page names and remove URL queries and fragments from GA4 events. Ordinary technical information such as browser, device, request IP address, and analytics identifiers may still be processed by Google.
An explicit choice is stored locally under resumeinvited:analytics-consent:v1. While enabled, Google Analytics may use _ga cookies. We keep advertising consent denied and do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalization, automatic form tracking, or enhanced measurement. If browser storage is unavailable or cleared, the default applies again on your next visit.
Local storage for your resume draft
The resume builder uses your browser's local storage to save your active resume draft on your device. Local storage is different from a traditional cookie, but it is controlled through your browser and can remember information between visits.
Because the draft stays in your browser, ResumeInvited cannot retrieve or delete that local copy remotely. Clearing site data, using a private browsing session, changing browsers, or changing devices may make the draft unavailable.
Your choices
You can manage or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent the resume builder from saving your progress or may affect other site functions.
If you use a shared device, clear the resume from the builder and remove site data when you are finished.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the analytics providers, purposes, or choices change. Optional analytics remains subject to your choice.
The Help Center explains how browser storage works. The Contact page describes the current availability of a public support channel.
